Coronavirus fund grant helps counselling charity tackle increase in stressed out mums

A COUNSELLING charity is warning that the full emotional toll caused by months of lockdown has yet to be seen – and stressed out mums could be the biggest sufferers.
Help Counselling Service, which provides affordable therapy for hundreds of people a year in west and north Wiltshire, has been awarded a grant from the Wiltshire Community Foundation’s Coronavirus Response and Recovery Fund to help cope with the rise in its caseload.

Zurich Decoration Team

Managing on a £44,000 a year budget, HELP Counselling Services is entirely self-funded and relies on donations from local businesses.
Mrs Wilkes added: "HELP has been extremely grateful for the enduring and regular support that Zurich Community Trust has given us over many years.
"As well as regular financial donations, a decorating team recently visited the HELP offices at Kestrel House in Mill Street to treat them to a much-needed makeover.
"Completed in less than a day, a team of decorators gave the HELP offices a brand new look."
